Looking to be handling fatherhood with ease, Pete Wentz was spotted running errands with son Bronx, earlier today (December 14) in New York City.
With his little boy strapped to his back, the "Fall Out Boy" frontrunner stocked up on some groceries while wife, Ashlee Simpson, prepares for tonight's performance of "Chicago."
Perhaps Mr Wentz picked up some Christmas decorations as well, because shortly after, he posted a picture and comment on Twitter saying, "yes i even have grinch as a tree topper."
It sounds like the Wentz clan is ready for the holiday as Ashlee also took to her Twitter and posted, "there's presents hidden all over the house no sneaking."

Enjoying a break from her busy Broadway schedule, Ashlee Simpson joined husband Pete Wentz and little Bronx Mowgli for a winter outing in New York City on Wednesday (December 9).

Not letting the cold and windy weather deter the day's plans, the happy family made their way to a nearby playground in Manhattan for a little time on the swingset to go with a walk around their Big Apple neighborhood.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Ashlee just recently kicked off her stage duties for "Chicago", in which she plays the character of heart-stealing jailbird Roxie Hart.

With shows running through February 7th, Miss Simpson wrote to fans on Sunday, "Woo first week of CHICAGO..It's so warm and fuzzy there! The cast has made me feel at home.. LOVE! Thanks to the peeps comin to the shows!x"

She's had quite a year as she's settled into marriage and motherhood, and Ashlee Simpson says she's loved being a mom.

Spotted out shopping with Pete Wentz and their son Bronx Mowgli at Dragon Books in Los Angeles earleir today (November 20), the "Pieces of Me" songstress confessed that having a little one "is the most fantastic experience I have ever been through," adding that the one-year-old (who celebrates his birthday today) makes her "laugh and smile every day."

Ashlee's sister Jessica took to her Twitter page this morning, saying, "Happy Birthdya to my precious angel on earth!!! Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can't believe it has been a year already."

Proud papa Pete Wentz tweeted, "Happy birthday bx. you dont have twitter and cant read this. Thanks to all my friends that recorded lullabies. cant believe its been a year."

Pete Wentz totes son Bronx Mowgli, 1, as they leave New York City's Ambassador Theatre after watching Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's preview rehearsal for Chicago early Monday evening.

That night, the singer and actress made her Broadway debut, reprising her role as Roxie Hart in the musical.

Ashlee, 25, will be on the Great White Way for a 10-week engagement.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? None other than Spongebob Squarepants, Bronx Mowgli's new best friend, according to dad Pete Wentz.

Reaffirming wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's sentiments that the cartoon character is a hit in their household, the Fall Out Boy rocker tells Ryan Seacrest that the couple's son, who turns 1 later this month, is likely going to celebrate his first year in Spongebob style.

"We got the one-year birthday coming up which is going to be pretty awesome," he says. "I think we're going to go Spongebob."

As for party decorations, Pete and Ashlee need not look too far.

"We have these giant Spongebob paintings in our house and I said, 'Spongebob' a couple times when we were walking by it. Now [Bronx] has to stop every time we walk by and he says, 'Bob.'"

Pete and Ashlee aren't the only ones touched by Bronx's love of all things Spongebob; Bob, Pete's manager, believes baby boy has taken a liking to the name after spending time with him. "I swear to God he thinks [Bronx] says 'Bob' because of him and I don't want to break his heart!" the proud papa laughs.

Taking a break from their hectic schedules, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted taking their son Bronx Mowgli to Disneyland in Anaheim, California yesterday (October 29).

The "Pieces of Me" songstress and her Fall Out Boy beau looked to be having a marvelous time with their 11-month-old as they rode the Dumbo Flying Elephants.

And the happy family image is a welcome one, especially considering the reports that Ashlee has been upset as of late over her "Melrose Place" departure.

An insider revealed, "Ashlee didn't see it coming, and now she's crushed. She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her. She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good. Ashlee's friends are concerned that she's headed for an emotional meltdown. She was desperate to establish herself as a serious actress, but now she's worried that she's failing."

Tending to his fatherly duties, Pete Wentz and his son Bronx Mowgli were spotted spending some precious time together in Beverly Hills on Saturday (October 24).

The Fall Out Boy stud and his baby boy happened to be out getting coffee and lunch at the Beverly Glen Mall during the course of the day's outing.

Earlier in the week, Pete was among the guests attending a charitable event for "Invisible Children" - which shows documentaries about the refugees in Uganda to raise awareness.

Of the cause, Wentz told press: "When I first saw the movie, I felt sad and I realized that I hadn't felt sad for something outside of myself or one of my friends in a really long time."

"I don't believe that where a child is born should determine their destiny in life," he says. "I want my son to understand that as well."

Fitting in a little quality family time, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz ventured out with Bronx Mowgli in Hollywood on Saturday (October 17).

The loving family were all smiles as they enjoyed the relaxing weekend outing, with Miss Simpson toting her adorable baby boy in her arms as paparazzi snapped up shots.

As for fatherhood, Pete recently told People magazine: "Everything is awesome about being a dad. Eventually we want to be able to have a soccer team."

But the family expansion is currently on hold, as the Fall Out Boy rocker says that he and Ashlee need to "schedule and time things right ... Ashlee is really focused on Melrose Place right now and I'm figuring what I'm doing next year."

Continuing on about his daddy duties, Wentz tells, "The best part for me now is that I think for the first 9 months mom is so essential. When they start hanging out with dad more you're like, 'Wow I feel like a dad.' You go to music class and do fun stuff together, it's cool."
